Well get me some booby tassles...

For I am going to....
That's right. My lil'devs woke up today and felt like buying some concert tickets. Boy, did he buy wisely. I have always been rooting for B. Spears, well except for when I wasn't rooting for her. But I always knew she would bounce back from all her crazy antics. Anyway, I know the badonkatonkas are going to have a great time. Yes, Devon is totally going with me for he, believe it or not, is a Britney fan as well. One of my fondest memories of us is when we learned the dance from Boorits "Crazy" music video (shout out to Darren's Dance Grooves). Coming with the ol' Spearster is none other than the Pussycat Dolls. I secretly, not so secretly heart them and I don't care who knows it. My rendition of Jai Ho is quite incredible... It's just me saying "gichi gichi gichi I know you man" over and over again. Devon sure appreciates it.
Hootie hoo April 14th can not come soon enough...
That's all.

Oh well HELLO!!!

It's been awhile since I've done my bloggin... But this is definitely cause to celebrate, for it is my, wait for it.... 30th blog post! Ahhh!! I did it. Now I can finally make that blog book I've so desperately wanted... Not really. But yay for 30! Anyway, the above pic is stolen from Cessy's blog. It is Chelshea.. She was trying a new look, one that I disapproved but whatevs.. Now here are more pictures.
The Madsen girlies gift showing it up. Yeah we have badges. And also business cards.. They're practically perfect except that Cecily spelled her last name smtih. But you hardly notice it..
This was an awesome place to get sunglasses. Before entering we took a pic by that awesome neon sign that looks like... sunglasses with an arrow underneath them. Get your mind outta the gutter people. Also, the Chinese man was great.
How great you ask? Well he was so great that he fell in the grand canyon and got stuck. Oh wait, wrong joke. He was so great that he gave us FREE sunglasses! Yes, sunglasses for a total of free ninety nine. We had to document such wonderfulness. The other guy was friendly too. Just FYI.
Now, these pics are from when Devs & I watched Tessa for a night. Good fun, good fun.
We took her to McDonalds and Devon just had to go in the playplace with her. She was all, I can do it alone and he was all, no Tess you can't I need to be playin in that place too. Silly Debon. Here they are in the dump truck. So tute.
I let Tessa play with my makeup... I had no idea she would turn my blush into lipstick. Seriously, I don't know how but she made the powder into some sort of paste.
And lastly, I made Tess & myself awesome tie dye shirts. Yep, we were totally matching. But not so totally because all tie dye tees are unique. Ta da!
Now, to celebrate my 30th post since it is such a milestone for me, hop on over to www.vinylrocksmyworld.blogspot.com and enter in the 3sister giveaway! We are giving away either a custom tutu, or a headband from our jadorable etsy shop. There is also a very attractive *cough not really cough* pic of me on there. I was really just trying to be commercialy like Ty-ty (Tyra) teaches the girls of Top Model. I hope I made that big mama proud.

My lil devy is great...

I will tell you why he is so great, but first, look at what we did Friday.
Like I said in an earlier post.. We went and saw this guy.

It was quite incredible. They were having City Weeklys battle of the bands as well so we got introduced to The Neon Trees (& also The Furs, boo The Furs) and they were delightful.

Just look how happy we all are!! Yipee! Hooray! BK!

Thanks to Ces & Chels for these pics that I stole from your blogs. We took pretty awesome shots but I've yet to find something to upload my pics on my comp... And my camera is being held together by masking tape. Poor thing. sad face..
Anywhoodle... Valentimes was ahhmazing! Devs & I slept in which was fantastic and then I got a lil somethin somethin from my Lil Devs, (get your mind out of the gutter) drumroll please.... He, so lovingly and complete with a poem, gave me an Itouch! And Ilove Ilove! Pretty much my entire family (including my hot corvette drivin mother) has one and I was feeling left out. But my wonderful husband made sure I could be apart of that crowd and totally update my fb status whilst in starbucks (woo wifi). He's the best! To thank him, I let him choose what we would be doing for the valentimes afternoon and what do you think he wanted to do? Play video games? no. Watch sports? no. See Confessions of a Shopaholic? you betcha! Ahh we love that Isla Fisher! Afterwards.. We got some take out from Olive Garden and watched the dunk offs or whatever you call it. Man short guy can jump! And jump he did... into victory.
So yeah, valentines=awesome.
The End

BK Friday...

The badonkatonkas are going to see this guy tonight.
He is Ben Kweller.
A 28 year old trapped in a 12 year olds body.
He is totally awesome.
Also, a crazy random happenstance, Devs & I saw BK exactly 2 years ago from today.
(yes, I used italics. It is Friday the 13th and I wanted it to look eerie..)
Just two crazy kids, barely known each other for 2 months & oh so in love.
Well Devs was.. I was still on the fence. Hehe I kid, I kid.
But Kweller really brought us together.
Thanks you redheaded lil singin man.. See you tonight.
Woo!
P.S. Did anyone happen to catch 30 Rock?? Liz Lemon talking bout putting a donut in the microwave may have been one of the greatest lines eva...
P.S.S. I hope you're all prepared because I'm totally becoming one of those bloggers that shares a lil tidbit of my life every day and tells you all what really inspires me... i.e. butterflies.
Consider yourself warned.
Tonks Out!

Hogi Yogi.. Not like the sandwich.

So... let me tell ya about a lil thing called Bikram Yoga.
Hoooolly Crraapp... I die. I die.
Basically it is yoga in a room that's like 105 degrees and it's 90 minutes long and hoolly crrap, it's hard! When you're a 'newbie' they tell you that your biggest challenge is to just stay in the room, just stay in the room. I was like "seriously, hot yoga.. how bad can it be?" Oooh boy, I was in for a surprise. While in the class so many thoughts went thru my head like 'omg I'm gonna puke... what did I eat earlier? all I ate were junior mints... oh man these people are gonna see junior mint throwup all over my yoga mat... I'm gonna pass out.. the teacher wants me to stretch what now?! holy crap that girl behind me just threw her legs past her head while laying on the ground... & all I'm doing is lying in a pool of my sweat trying not to faint." Yep yep yep the many thoughts in my head... But the one I had afterwards was, Bikram. is. Ahhhwweessome.
So Ces & I went again last night and we're getting pretty good at it. We're totally starting to talk like yogis too. Or yogians, or yogites.. I'm not sure what you would call them...er, I mean us. ;) wink face.
Anyway, bikram yoga is amazin and I'm pretty sure the secret is, as Cecily & I (yogis) discussed last night, if you feel like you're about to die, gonna throw up, or pass out, then it's working...
So just thought I'd give a shout out to that crazy bikram yoga. I totally hate/love it like I hate/love Speidi. Oh wait, that's Devons love/hate relationship.
Also, another cool thing... My mom totally bought a hot lil number down in St. George today. And by hot lil number, I mean a hot red corvette, porsche, or some sort of red sports car.. She sent my dad a picture message that said "Happy Valentines Day, don't kill me." Ahhh love her so much. I hope that one day she will use my childhood boxes to fend off water from the car when the garage floods, and she'll feel so bad that she will give me the car.. That's from a Friends episode. And hopefully it will soon be from the episode of what is my life..
The End

Facebook, Shmasbook... I have a blog.

So... For the past week I've seen many facebook 'notes' entitled "25 Random Things About Me" and since I mostly only use the fb to just look at pictures and come up with funny status updates about The Hills for Devy, I decided to do this lil random note thing on my awesome blog. And I also don't really know how to make a so-called note on facebook, ergo the blog post. Yes, ergo. I learned that word from '90210' this week. I totally get symbolism... Anywho, here is my list of random randoms about me.. Enjoy.

1. I have and will forever be Team Aniston, no matter how darn cute those Jolie-Pitt children are.
2. One of my dying wishes is to meet said Aniston.. My other wish is world peace, naturally...
3. Friends is my absolute favorite televison show ever. Yes, I recorded every single episode on VHS and yes, I even made a list complete with "TOW" so I could keep track of which episode was on which video. I now have the dvd set which would be the one thing that I would grab if my place ever caught fire. Sorry Devo... hehe jk. Devo then Friends. I keep forgetting the order!
4. If I were sleeping at my parents house and it caught fire, I would grab my pookie doll that I have had since I was like 2. I don't care how disgusting he looks, that lil guy will most likely be buried with me I love him so much.
5. My absolute biggest pet peeve is bikers who act like they are cars and drive on the road and then they think "Hey I'm a bike I don't gots to obey the traffic lights.." Ugh sometimes I wanna drive up right next to them and push them over.
6. My other biggest pet peeve is when I am shopping and looking at a certain rack of clothes and someone else comes not a foot away and starts looking at the same rack. I usually try to stand my ground and get up right next to them so they can take a hint, but they never do. Like bikers, I sometimes just wanna push them over.
7. I heart buffalo wings. I'm pretty sure there was a year in my childhood where all I would order was wings whenever the fam went out to eat. There were all like "whaaa.. you got wings again?!" And I was all like "yes..." and then I would eat them.
8. I was voted best dressed outta of all the senior girls in my high school.. I have some undiewears that prove it.. They say "best dressed."
9. Behind my great clothing choices and best dressiness, you might be surprised to learn that I love video & computer games. Resident Evil & The Sims are my all time favs. Judge all you want, I don't even care.
10. I quote 30 Rock and The Office waaay too much... I even quote the simple quotes like "why yes.." and then I ask if the person I'm talking to understood that I was quoting 30 rock/the office. Devon is usually the one I'm quoting shows to. He enjoys it. I think...
11. Along with quoting, I am also pretty good at impersonating movie trailers. For instance, I do a mean Anna Faris in the House Bunny and also a good Robert Downey Jr. in Tropic Thunder. Just the parts in the previews. Not the actual movie. My nephew loves it.
12. Back to television shows... Devon & I watch many and we have fun doing so. For example, we like to guess when the LOST spiraling @ the beginning is going to happen on the episodes of Lost. We also like to do a head nod on the opening credits of The Hills when that one model does it. Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about... We also always make sure we say xoxo after every Gossip Girl.
14. I skipped 13 because I'm superstitious. Actually not super, just stitious. Did you guys get that? I just quoted The Office.
15. I can sing with my mouth closed.
16. I love Us Weekly and People magazine. I am that girl who talks about celebrities like they are her neighbors..
17. I love making headbands with style. Psssh what are headbands with style you ask? 3sister.etsy.com has your answer. Oh man, shameless plug right guys?
18. is the date in December of which I was born. Along with Brad Pitt, Katie Holmes, Ashlii, Zach's mom, Steven Spielberg, one of my dads clients, and just found out, Ray Liotta! I love that guy!
19. In 7th grade it was a requirement to take a keyboarding class. I guess I got so into that now, when I'm talking to someone or listening to something, I will type out the words that are being spoken as if my hands were on a keyboard. So if you ever see my fingers tick, you will now know why. That's random yes?
20. Upon watching Coyote Ugly, it was one of my lifelong goals to be a "Coyote" bartender. When I lived in Vegas for a week I was tempted to enroll in bartending school. I didn't. But I do have my own silver mixer thing where I make some delish mock-tails! Hey oh!
21. One day I hope to have a bulldog named Bingaling. And one day I will...
22. From Justin to Kelly really is one of my top ten favorite movies. I even signed a petition to have them make a soundtrack. I still have my fingers crossed.
23-25.. That's all the random I've got today... Oohh wait, I just figured one out while cracking my knuckles (gross I know) but... I can only bend my right pinky in a complete 90 degree angle. If I try to bend the left one it just ends up looking like some sort of claw... I try with all my might to fully bend my left but to no avail...
Anyway, that's me random!

sister,sister,sister

3sister is the name. Making accessories is our game. That's right all, the Madsen sisters have an etsy shop and pretty soon we will have a real shop, most likely in my mothers kitchen when she does her biggest Simpable Things eva! For a history of how this came about refer to Chelsea's blog. Basically we were buying cute feather dealys from Urban for like $30 bucks, I kid you not, so we decided to make them and sell them cheaper to serve womankind. Once again, I leave you a link... 3sister. Because it sounds cooler than 3sisters. And more mature than 3sisterz, which is what I wanted to call it. Oh man, I'm barely an adult and still acting like a tweenager. Anyway... Go visit it. We can do custom orders. Anything your heart desires.
